Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program preferred.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred.
• MA certifications preferred: CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories and prepare data for visits.
• Prepare forms and documentation for providers.
• Maintain supplies and record vital signs in EMR.
• File and scan medical records; educate patients on health basics.
• Assist with triage, chronic care, and examinations.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with procedures.
• Hand instruments and support during examinations.
• Answer calls and schedule patient appointments.
• Perform other MA duties to support the healthcare team.
