Job summary

Community Health Network in Indianapolis seeks a Medical Assistant to support an ambulatory health care site, assisting the provider with patient visits, procedures and lab tasks, coordinating referrals and contributing to quality outcomes.

As a Medical Assistant you will participate in network quality initiatives, collaborate with the care team, maintain exam rooms, obtain vital signs and EKGs, collect specimens and document care in the EPIC EMR system.

Qualifications

• Collaborate with others in a team setting and maintain a positive attitude toward problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills for interactions with patients, providers and staff.
• Proof of MA certification within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the provider with patient visits and procedures and facilitate routine lab tasks.

• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and manage patient flow in the clinic.
