Job summary

Vancouver Clinic is hiring a Medical Assistant for Internal Medicine at our Columbia Tech Center location in Vancouver, WA. Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting information, preparing patients for examination, and assisting with patient care delivery.

EMTs and experienced CNAs are encouraged to apply; onsite training to achieve WA MA-R credential will be provided. Salary ranges and benefits reflect WA state standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain Washington State MA credential within required timeframe.
• Completion of a nationally recognized MA certification or formal MA program preferred.
• EMT training/certification or CNA licensure considered.
• Current BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and collect information prior to examination.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist with overall delivery of patient care.
• Provide hands-on training to work at top of scope as needed.
• Maintain flexibility to support multiple positions at Columbia Tech Center.

**$2,500 Hire Bonus AvailableVancouver Clinic is hiring a Medical Assistant for Internal Medicine at our Columbia Tech Center location!Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, assisting with overall delivery of patient care, and receiving additional hands-on training to work at top of scope. EMTs and experienced CNAs are welcome to apply. Expectation to receive onsite training and obtain Washington State MA-R credential.Location: Columbia Tech Center (501 SE 172nd Ave – Vancouver, WA 98684)Schedule: Monday through Friday, Start times vary between 6:30AM to 5:00PM depending on position.Hiring rate starts at $20.59/hour and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.Active WA State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified credential, hiring range starts at $22.25/hour and goes up based on experience.Requirements:High School diploma or equivalentRequired completion of one of the following : Combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized MA certification or completion of a formal MA program or formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or *EMT training and certification or experienced and licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
