Job summary

Vancouver Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant for Internal Medicine at the Columbia Tech Center location. You will room patients, collect information, and prepare them for examination, while assisting with delivery of care and training to work at top of scope.

Onsite training is provided; EMTs and CNAs welcome to apply. Expect WA MA-R credentialing and a competitive benefits package; salary ranges are position-dependent.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of MA program or national MA certification or EMT training/certification; WA MA credential within required timeframe.
• Current healthcare provider BLS; Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and collect information for examinations.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist with care delivery.
• Support overall delivery of patient care and maintain EHR documentation.

$2,500 Hire Bonus Available

Vancouver Clinic is hiring a Medical Assistant for Internal Medicine at our Columbia Tech Center location!

Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, assisting with overall delivery of patient care, and receiving additional hands-on training to work at top of scope. EMTs and experienced CNAs are welcome to apply. Expectation to receive onsite training and obtain Washington State MA-R credential.

Location: Columbia Tech Center (501 SE 172nd Ave - Vancouver, WA 98684)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, Start times vary between 6:30AM to 5:00PM depending on position.

Hiring rate starts at $20.59/hour and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.

Active WA State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified credential, hiring range starts at $22.25/hour and goes up based on experience.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Required completion of one of the following : Combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized MA certification or completion of a formal MA program or formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or *EMT training and certification or experienced and licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within required timeframe and maintain in active status throughout employment.
• Current healthcare provider BLS required
• Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred

Pay Range:

$20.19 - $28.27
