The Care Team Specialist (CTS) supports high-quality patient care as part of a care team. Responsibilities include pre-visit preparation, monitoring patient flow, rooming patients, obtaining histories and vital signs, managing test results, supporting Epic workflows, returning calls, and assisting with exams and procedures. The CTS collaborates with RNs and providers, participates in in-basket reviews, and may have tasks delegated by practitioners and RNs. Candidates must have completed training as a Medical Assistant, LPN, Paramedic, or EMT from an accredited program.
