Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking an entry-level Clinical Technologist to support patient flow and perform clinical tasks. After a 4–6 week training period, you will work independently in a fast-paced clinic environment, ideal for MAs and PCTs expanding their skill set.

This is for our brand-new Florida clinic opening soon. Responsibilities include patient rooming, procedure support, documentation, inventory, and strict adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting
  • BLS certification within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred)
  • Experience with sterile field is required
  • Preferred completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program
  • Strong communication skills and EMR experience
  • Dependable, punctual, and knowledgeable in medical terminology

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care Support: assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation; update patient status in eCW and maintain smooth patient flow
  • Procedure Support: prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, follow HIPAA, OSHA guidelines
  • Documentation & Inventory: document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, keep exam rooms stocked
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: uphold HIPAA standards and UVVC Core Values; maintain patient confidentiality

After completing your initial training (4-6 weeks), you’ll perform all job responsibilities independently with confidence. This entry-level role is ideal for MAs and PCTs looking to expand their skills and take on new challenges in a fast-paced clinic environment.

This is for our Brand-new clinic that will is targeting to open 11/9.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care Support: Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation. Use eCW to update patient status and maintain smooth patient flow.
  • Procedure Support: Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness.
  • Documentation & Inventory: Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Uphold all HIPAA standards, follow UVVC's Core Values and Standards of Conduct, and maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality.
