United Vein & Vascular Centers (UVVC) is seeking a Clinical Technologist to support patient flow and assist in clinical tasks within a fast-paced clinic.

After completing your initial training (4-6 weeks), you’ll perform all responsibilities independently with confidence. This entry-level role is ideal for MAs and PCTs looking to expand their skills and take on new challenges.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a patient-care role (MA, PCT, Surgical Tech, or Scrub Tech).
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• Completion of accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program preferred.
• Strong communication skills and EMR experience.
• Dependable and punctual with knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care Support: assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation; update status in eCW.
• Procedure Support: prepare exam rooms, assist in sterile/non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures; follow CDC and OSHA guidelines.
• Documentation & Inventory: document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, stock exam rooms.
• Compliance & Confidentiality: uphold HIPAA standards, follow UVVC standards, maintain patient confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care Support: Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation. Use eCW to update patient status and maintain smooth patient flow.
• Procedure Support: Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness.
• Documentation & Inventory: Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked.
• Compliance & Confidentiality: Uphold all HIPAA standards, follow UVVC's Core Values and Standards of Conduct, and maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred)
• Preferred completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program
• Strong communication skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
• Dependable, punctual, and knowledgeable in medical terminology
