Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking a Clinical Technologist to support patient flow in a fast-paced clinic network. After completing 4–6 weeks of training, you will perform all duties independently as an entry-level professional.

Floating role based out of Buckhead, covering Duluth, Inman Park, Newnan, and Douglasville with mileage reimbursement for travel between sites. Ideal for MAs and PCTs seeking to expand their skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting.
  • BLS certification within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred).
  • Preferred completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program.
  • Strong communication skills and EMR experience.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care Support: Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation.
  • Procedure Support: Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness.
  • Documentation & Inventory: Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Uphold all HIPAA standards, follow UVVC's Core Values and Standards of Conduct, and maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality.

About the Role

As a Clinical Technologist, you’ll be a critical member of our team, supporting patient flow and engaging in various clinical support tasks. After completing your initial training (4-6 weeks), you’ll perform all job responsibilities independently with confidence. This entry-level role is ideal for MAs and PCTs looking to expand their skills and take on new challenges in a fast-paced clinic environment.

This role is a floating role which will be based out of Buckhead clinic and help cover the clinics in market including: Duluth, Inman Park, Newnan and Douglasville. Mileage reimbursement will apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care Support: Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation. Use eCW to update patient status and maintain smooth patient flow.
  • Procedure Support: Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness.
  • Documentation & Inventory: Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked.
