Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers in Aurora, CO is hiring for an entry-level Medical Assistant / Clinical Technologist. After a 4–6 week training, you will perform patient care tasks, document vitals, and support procedures in a fast-paced clinic.

You will maintain HIPAA compliance, manage supplies, assist in surgical procedures, and ensure accurate EMR updates. A strong communicator with EMR experience and a willingness to learn qualifies; BLS certification required within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician experience in a patient care setting.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred).
• Must have experience with sterile field.
• Preferred completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program.
• Strong communication skills and experience with EMR.

Responsibilities

Medical Assistant / Clinical Technologist

About the Role:

As a Clinical Technologist, you’ll be a critical member of our team, supporting patient flow and engaging in various clinical support tasks. After completing your initial training (4-6 weeks), you’ll perform all job responsibilities independently with confidence. This entry-level role is ideal for MAs and PCTs looking to expand their skills and take on new challenges in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care Support: Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation. Use eCW to update patient status and maintain smooth patient flow.
• Procedure Support: Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness.
• Documentation & Inventory: Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked.
• Compliance & Confidentiality: Uphold all HIPAA standards, follow UVVC's Core Values and Standards of Conduct, and maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
