Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical assistant program accredited by ABHES/CAAHEP or equivalent.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients and prepares them for examination.
• Assists in examination, treatment and clinic procedures.
• Coordinates referrals and insurance communications.
• Registers patients and verifies records are up to date.
• Schedules appointments and enters them into the scheduler.
• Collects payments and issues receipts.
• Maintains patient charts and clinic supplies.
