Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program with successful completion of a nationally recognized certification exam required.

Aufgaben

• Assists in obtaining patient vital signs and updates charts per visit or phone contact.
• Collects and processes all point-of-care, lab, and pathology samples per policy.
• Administers and records treatments, dressing changes, medications, and therapies under supervision.
• Chaperones, sets up for, and assists providers in procedures and examinations as needed.
• Performs front desk reception, greeting patients and scheduling appointments.
• Coordinates with outside healthcare partners to carry out the patient plan of care.
