Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with successful certification.
• Pass a nationally recognized MA exam (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NRCMA, etc.).
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient vitals and document in chart.
• Assist with procedures and specimen collection per policy.
• Administer treatments and supervise under physician guidance.
• Perform front-desk tasks: greeting, scheduling, and intake data entry.
• Coordinate care with home health, hospice, and partners; monitor Epic In Basket messages.
• Maintain infection prevention standards and safety protocols.
