Job summary

Adventist Health Reedley in Tulare, CA seeks a per diem Medical Assistant to provide non-invasive clinical support under supervision and to assist with routine patient care. The position offers exposure to a wide range of ambulatory services within a 49-bed hospital and 60 clinics in a community-focused system.

You will set up exam rooms, take vital signs, perform venipuncture, and help with audiometry and vision testing, contributing to safe, patient-centered care in a collaborative team

Qualifications

• High School education or GED required.
• CMA or RMA or equivalent preferred; BLS required.
• BLS certification required.
• Phlebotomy certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients.
• Maintains a patient recall system and coordinates care logs.
• Obtains vital signs and reports findings to the clinic physician.
• Performs venipunctures as ordered.
• Performs audiometry and vision testing.
