Job summary

Adventist Health Reedley is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide non-invasive, routine technical support under supervision of licensed providers. The role includes room setup, vital signs, venipuncture, audiometry and vision testing, and other duties as assigned.

High school/GED required; BLS certification required; CMA/RMA preferred; phlebotomy certification preferred. Clinic address: AHMO Corcoran East, Corcoran, CA.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• CMA or RMA preferred; audiometry and vision training or CHDP certification within six months of hire: Preferred
• Phlebotomy certificate: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients. Maintains a patient recall system.
• Obtains vital signs. Reports significant findings to clinic physician.
• Performs venipunctures as ordered.
• Performs audiometry and vision testing.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
