Responsibilities

• Provide support in clerical, clinical and business areas under supervision
• Perform pre-visit work, obtain vital signs and assist with examinations
• Sterilize instruments and maintain exam rooms
• Respond to patient messages and manage prescriptions
• Schedule pre-admissions and diagnostic testing; call patients post-surgery
• Greet and check-in/out patients, manage charts and payments
• Maintain confidentiality and follow policies; participate in daily huddle
• May scribe or document encounters and order labs or referrals
