Job summary

Siskiyou Community Health Center, Inc. in Cave Junction, OR is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient flow and care delivery in a clinic setting. The MA will prepare patients, assist with examinations, administer vaccines, manage vitals, and maintain clean, organized exam rooms per protocols.

BLS certification required or within 90 days; phlebotomy training is preferred. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, MA program completion or certification within 6 months, and experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred, or eligible for certification within 6 months of hire.
• Phlebotomy program completion is preferred.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vitals and updating histories.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Administer vaccines and injections as directed.
• Maintain clinical areas, equipment, and supplies in a clean, safe state.
• Support patient communication, documentation, and follow-up.
