Job summary

PCC Medical Holding, LLC (Physician Care Centers) is seeking a Medical Assistant in Athens, GA for a full-time position. The role supports providers with administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring patient comfort and accurate charting.

Responsibilities include patient prep, lab result verification, medication administration, and patient education. Strong communication, organization, and a minimum three years of clinical experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of clinical experience.
• Medical Assistant certification or higher (EMT, RN, LPN) CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and notify provider when the patient is ready.
• Ensure all lab and diagnostic test results are in the chart prior to appointment.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and clean.
• Obtain vitals and patient history; assist during examinations.
• Prepare and administer medications and injections as directed.
• Update and file patient medical records.
