Job summary

PCC Medical Holding, LLC (Physician Care Centers) is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform administrative and clerical duties while supporting providers to deliver high-quality care. You will help patients feel at ease, take vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and assist with procedures.

Responsibilities include administering medications and injections, collecting specimens, updating records, and coordinating lab results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of clinical experience.
• Medical Assistant certification or higher (EMT, RN, LPN) CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and notify provider when the patient is ready.
• Prepare patients for examinations and explain provider instructions.
• Assist the provider during examinations.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens; administer injections and immunizations as directed.
• Transmitting prescription refills as directed; update and file patient records.
• Inventory and order medical, lab, and office supplies; perform wound care.
