Job summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking a PCC II to support day-to-day clinic operations onsite in Pleasanton. You will learn and apply job skills, policies, and procedures while developing expertise in a chosen clinic area.

Expect duties across patient check-in/out, rooming, basic clinical tasks, and collaboration with providers. The role emphasizes accuracy in documentation, adherence to protocols, infection prevention, and strong communication with patients and the care team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus one of: MA program completion, MA training by physician/podiatrist, or MA certification approved by CA Medical Board.

Responsibilities

• Develop clinical expertise in assigned area.
• Complete disability paperwork and maintain logs and protocols.
• Perform patient care tasks: vitals, rooming, labs, medication reconciliation, EKG and related duties.
• Handle check-in/out, telehealth support, vaccines, point-of-care testing and specimen collection.
• Manage weekly clinic prep, stocking, supply ordering and timely task completion.
• Respond to patient calls, manage prescriptions and coordinate care between provider, patient and staff.
