Job summary

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking a Per Diem Medical Assistant to greet patients, obtain vital signs, and prepare them for procedures. The role requires MA-C or Interim MA-C with WA DOH and CPR certification, plus EMR/EPIC experience.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:30pm, with no weekend or holidays. Salary is posted as an hourly range, and the position offers benefits and opportunities within a large healthcare network located in Bellevue, WA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards required.
• Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) or Interim MA-C through WA State DOH required (the latter must obtain regular MA-C within 6-months of hire).
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Experience with EMR applications, EPIC preferred.

$28.02 - $38.77

Job responsibilities include greeting and preparing patients for the healthcare practitioner, obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for routine and specialty procedures, collecting specimens, and documenting patient interactions via electronic medical record.

PER DIEM / Days no weekend or holidays

Monda - Friday / 730am to 530pm
