Job summary

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics in Bellevue, WA is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Surgical Clinic on Overlake's main campus.

As a CMA or LPN you will greet patients, obtain vitals, assist pre- and post-op patients, handle authorizations, stock rooms, and reconcile medications. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Sign-on bonus eligible for new hires.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; WA state standards must be satisfied.
• Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or equivalent military training that satisfies WA state standards.
• MA-C certification or Interim MA-C through WA State DOH; interim must obtain MA-C within 6 months of hire.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for the healthcare practitioner.
• Obtain vitals.
• Work with pre- and post-op surgical patients.
• Perform authorizations for procedures and imaging.
• Ensure exam and procedure rooms are stocked.
• Perform medication reconciliation.

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking afull-time Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Surgical Clinic on Overlake's main hospital campus in Bellevue!

Job responsibilities include greeting and preparing patients for the healthcare practitioner, obtaining vitals, working with pre- and post-op surgical patients, performing authorizations for procedures and imaging, ensuring exam and procedure rooms are stocked, and performing medication reconciliation.

Full-Time/Days

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Qualifications

Medical Assistant

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards required.
• Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) or Interim MA-C through WA State DOH required(the latter must obtain regular MA-C within 6-months of hire).
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Experience with EMR applications, EPIC preferred.

Licensed Practical Nurse

• Graduate of a licensed practical nurse program or previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) through WA State DOH required.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Experience with EMR applications, EPIC preferred.
• One year of clinic experience preferred.
