Job summary

Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue seeks a Certified Medical Assistant for vascular surgery per diem. You will greet and prepare patients, obtain vital signs, and ready them for routine and specialty procedures.

You will collect specimens, document interactions in the electronic medical record (EPIC preferred), and support team workflow during day shifts, Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or WA military training.
  • Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) or Interim MA-C through WA State DOH.
  • Current healthcare provider CPR certification.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience with EMR systems; EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and prepare patients for the healthcare practitioner.
