• A year of experience in the medical field preferred.
• Must be able to travel between both Silverdale and Gig Harbor offices.

• Proficient in EMR systems and general computer use.

Responsibilities

• This role involves working alongside a provider in the clinic to support patient care, assist with procedures, and help ensure smooth day-to-day clinical operations.
• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and reviewing current medications.
• Assist providers during exams and minor procedures.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and route messages appropriately.
• Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits.
• Process referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription refill requests.
