Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for our Lacey clinic and nearby Thurston County sites. The role focuses on patient flow, safe, timely care, and teamwork within a busy care setting.

Ideal candidates bring excellent customer service, a professional demeanor, and ability to multi-task. Requires WA MA-Certificate or MA-Interim License, plus BLS CPR; EPIC is a plus and bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a Washington State MA-Certificate or MA-Interim License and pass the exam within the 90-day probationary period.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and maintain BLS CPR throughout employment.
• EPIC experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow protocol in rooming and exiting patients.
• Complete all provider referrals for each patient.
• Administer injections and distribute oral medications under physician’s orders; perform venipuncture.
• Assist the medical provider with charting office visits; ensure communication and documentation for care coordination.

Hourly Rate: $23.39

Position Summary

Full‑time Medical Assistant position available for our Lacey Medical Clinic, as well as other clinics in Thurston County as needed. Ideal candidates will have proven excellent customer service skills, demonstrate an enthusiastic and professional demeanor, and excel at multi‑tasking. Medical Assistants are an integral part of the care team, ensuring patient flow and providing quality patient care in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities
