A leading healthcare provider in Seattle is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support clinical duties in a busy cardiology clinic. The ideal candidate will assist with patient care, manage schedules, and ensure smooth operations within the clinic. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent patient service. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.
This clinic is located at our downtown Seattle location, specializing in Cardiology.
The Medical Assistant assists the physician with clinical duties, including taking patient histories, administering injections, assisting in examinations and procedures, and performing laboratory and radiological examinations.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program or validation of equivalent military training (e.g., Hospital Corpsman).
Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant - Certified (CM) or Interim (IC) credential required.
Minimum 6 months of customer service experience required.
1+ year of MA-C experience preferred.
Knowledge of third-party payer requirements required.
Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills required. Proficiency in using a PC is necessary.
