The Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. is hiring a Medical Assistant to support direct patient care and routine procedures at our outpatient sites. You will assist clinical teams, prepare patients, and collect specimens in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Program diploma or 1 year of medical assisting experience or equivalent.
• EMT-P or Military Medic training are acceptable pathways.

Responsabilidades

• Room patients, measure and record vital signs including height, weight, temperature, BP, pulse, and respiration.
• Complete patient interview and history.
• Prepare patients for examinations, tests and treatments and explain procedures.
• Assist with examinations and treatments as ordered by physician.
• Set up equipment and prepare medical treatment rooms for patients.
• Collect samples such as blood, urine and sputum and perform routine lab tests.
