OSUP Community Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support direct patient care and assist clinical staff under established protocols in our central Ohio clinics. You will room patients, record vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and help with routine tests and lab specimens.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience or training in patient care is a plus.

Mansioni

• Room patients, measure and record vital signs (height, weight, temperature, BP, pulse, respiration).
• Complete patient interview and history.
• Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures; assist with procedures as ordered.
• May assist in examinations, carry out treatments and special tests.
• Set up equipment and prepare medical treatment rooms for patients.
• Collect samples such as blood, urine and sputum; perform routine laboratory tests.
• Manage the medical office inbox and coordinate timely communication with patients and providers.
• Oversee arrival of patient information and data gathering for healthcare providers.
