Vancouver Clinic is seeking an on-call Washington State Certified Medical Assistant to join our Central Refill team. The role involves refill duties, patient calls, and scheduling support, with a schedule that varies and no guaranteed hours.

Opportunity to transition to off-site work after successful full-time on-site training and meeting requirements. Location is at The VIC in Vancouver, WA, with potential remote work after training and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Must graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Certification from national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc.).
  • Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Current healthcare provider BLS required.

Responsibilities

  • Refill medications using department protocols and workflows.
  • Make phone calls and assist patients in scheduling appointments.
  • On-call schedule with hours not guaranteed; potential transition to off-site work after training.
  • Live in local Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR area with reliable home network (min 5 Mbps upload, 25 Mbps download).

Job description

We are looking for an ON CALL Washington State Certified Medical Assistant to work with our Central Refill team!

On-Call is not eligible for benefits and there is no guarantee of hours.

Location:The VIC (18110 SE 34th Street – Vancouver, WA 98683) – Potential to transition to off-site work after successful completion of full-time, on-site training.

Hiring range ( active Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified ) is generally between $22.25-$27.45 and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience. Differential: 5% for on-call position status

In this role you will utilize department protocols and workflows to refill medications as well as make phone calls and assist patients in scheduling appointments. This is an on call opportunity with a varying schedule Monday through Friday, hours are not guaranteed. Opportunity to work remotely after successful completion of training and meeting requirements.

Requirements:

Additional details: Central Refill team has the potential for off-site work after successful completion of full-time, on-site training at The VIC office and meeting the requirements for working off-site. This requires an employee to live in the local Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR area and have a secure home network with minimum upload (5 mbps) and download speeds (25 mbps).

Pay Range:
$21.81 – $30.53
