Job summary

Vancouver Clinic is hiring a Lead Medical Assistant for Internal Medicine at Happy Valley and Gresham, OR. You will balance leadership duties with direct patient care, rooming patients, collecting information, preparing them for examination, and assisting with procedures to ensure efficient workflows and a positive patient experience.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00am–4:00pm. Pay range starts at $28.02/hour and increases with experience.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
  • Proof of current national certification (AAMA, NCCT, NHA, AMT) required.
  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Experience with an electronic health record; Epic experience strongly preferred.
  • Completion of Oregon State-approved chaperone training.
  • Must have reliable and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Room patients, collect information, and prepare for examination.
  • Assist with procedures and support overall delivery of care.
  • Oversee daily operations and support patient flow.
  • Assist with provider schedules and templates.
  • Mentor and serve as a resource for team members.
  • Balance leadership duties with direct patient care to improve workflows and patient experience.

Vancouver Clinic is hiring a Lead Medical Assistant for Internal Medicine at our Happy Valley and Gresham, OR locations!

In this role, you will support both patient care and lead responsibilities by rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, assisting with procedures, and helping with the overall delivery of care. You will also oversee daily operations, support patient flow, assist with provider schedules and templates, and serve as a mentor and resource for team members. This position is expected to balance leadership duties with direct patient care while supporting efficient workflows and a positive patient experience.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Pay range starts at $28.02/hour and increases based upon evaluation of experience.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
  • Proof of current national certification (AAMA, NCCT, NHA, AMT) required.

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant.

Pay Range:

$27.47 - $38.46
