Job summary

Vancouver Clinic is looking for an on-call Washington State Certified Medical Assistant to work with our Central Refill team at The VIC in Vancouver, WA. Not eligible for benefits and hours are not guaranteed; there is potential to transition to off-site work after successful on-site training.

Responsibilities include refilling medications per protocols, handling patient calls to schedule appointments, and maintaining a varied on-call schedule Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification from a national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc.).
• Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Current healthcare provider BLS certification.

Location & Work Arrangements

• Office: The VIC, 18110 SE 34th Street, Vancouver, WA 98683.
• Remote work after successful completion of training, meeting requirements for off‑site work.
• Employees must live in the local Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR area and have a secure home network with minimum upload (5Mbps) and download (25Mbps) speeds.

Pay & Benefits

Hiring range with active Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant‑Certified credential is generally between $22.25–$27.45. Differential: 5% for on‑call status.

Pay range: $21.81–$30.53.

Benefits are available for eligible employees (full‑time). Eligible employees qualify for benefits beginning on the first of the month following one month of employment. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, long‑term disability, health savings account, flexible spending account, employee assistance program, and supplemental benefits. A 401(k) retirement plan with up to 4% employer match is offered.
