Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Must be willing to attain CMA/RMA certification within 9 months of start date.
• EMR/EHR experience and Epic familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Room patients, take health history, vitals, and perform EKGs.
• Administer injections and collect specimens.
• Document care using NextGen EMR software.
• Schedule appointments, process prior authorizations, refills, and referrals.
• Assist physicians and NPs with in-office procedures.
