The CORE Institute is hiring a Medical Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced clinic. The role involves rooming patients, taking vitals, handling intake paperwork, and assisting with procedures under provider supervision.

The MA will also aid in preparing prescriptions, entering data accurately, scanning documents into EMR, and keeping daily schedules organized. The position emphasizes confidentiality and professional teamwork in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant training program or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Knowledge of the health care field.
• General knowledge of patient care in a clinic.
• Knowledge of back office skills.
• Knowledge of patient confidentiality, state laws, HIPAA regulations, and medical records procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for visits by rooming, taking vitals, reviewing intake paperwork, and prepping procedures.
• Assist the provider with prescriptions and medical/patient forms.
• Scan clinical documents into the EMR system.
• Print clinic schedules on the morning of the service date.
