Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an office clinical/medical assistant competency training OR graduate of a Medical Assistant program.
• Current certification by Medical Assistant certifying organization or ability to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and record vital signs.
• Explain treatment procedures to patients.
• Prepare patients for examination.
• Assist the provider during examinations.
• Provide clinical services and serve as a community liaison at outreach events and health fairs.
