AdventHealth in Sanford, FL is hiring a Full-time Medical Assistant. You will educate members on their care team and coordinate care across the continuum, including scheduling appointments and referrals.

You’ll participate in daily operations, answer calls, assist front desk inquiries, and maintain the clinical space. The role requires an MA program graduate, BLS CPR certification, and CMA/CMAC/RMA-type credentials.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily operations: answering calls, front desk inquiries, and space upkeep.
• Communicates via digital channels to support patient care.
• Performs initial health screens and intake for new members.
• Reviews old medical records to ensure comprehensive patient history.
• Identifies care gaps and orders necessary screenings.
• Confirms appointments and provides patient instructions.
• Welcomes patients and guides tours of the practice.
