Job Overview

Located in Oklahoma City, OK, INTEGRIS Health Cardiovascular Physicians, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, offers a great opportunity for a Medical Assistant. Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, patient history, perform venipuncture, and assist with labs, x-ray, referrals, and patient communications as directed by providers or supervisors.
• Provide population-specific patient care and adhere to National Patient Safety Goals.
• Gather and document patient condition information, monitor and document patient status, and participate in developing and evaluating care plans.
• Manage call volume effectively, organize workflow efficiently, and may retrieve and transport medications as needed.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification/registration, or six months of clinic MA experience, or successful completion of the INTEGRIS Health Caregiver Placement Program (CPP).
• Preferred: Six months of customer service experience.
• CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Effective communication skills in English (Verbal/Written).
