Job summary

Cook County Health's Austin Health Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a multidisciplinary care team. Under physician supervision, you will support clinical and administrative tasks and help ensure continuity of patient care in the PCMH model and specialty clinics.

The role requires collaboration with physicians, nurses and front-line staff while adhering to the center's schedule (Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm, rotating 1st and 3rd Saturdays). Experience in ambulatory care is preferred.

PAY RANGE

$24.119-$29.159 HOURLY

SUMMARY

Under the supervision of a licensed physician, the Medical Assistant (MA) works as part of a multidisciplinary care team to support both clinical and administrative functions and contribute to the continuity of care to the patient. The MA works collaboratively with physicians, nurses and administrative staff in the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model of care and in the Specialty Clinics.
