Schedule:
  • Monday and Wednesday - CVR Hackensack Clinic
  • Tuesday and Thursday - CVR North Bergen Clinic
  • 6:30AM - 5:15PM
  • Four 10-hour shifts
Job Responsibilities:
Responsibility I - General:
  • Provide excellent patient care
  • Collaborate with team members to reach center goals
  • Train new clinical staff as needed
  • Respond to patient calls with feedback and answers
  • Attend team meetings
Responsibility II – Consult-based Nursing:
  • Maintain a caring and professional attitude
  • Assess, document vital signs, and provide patient education and counseling
  • Develop treatment strategies for venous insufficiency under provider guidance
  • Measure for fitted compression stockings and take leg photos for medical necessity
  • Generate referrals as needed
  • Keep accurate records, completing documentation within 24-48 hours
Responsibility III – Surgical Assisting:
  • Assist as a Surgical Tech, including medication mixing and procedure assistance
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and sterile techniques
  • Assist physicians during procedures with instruments and supplies
  • Dress procedural sites and apply compression devices as ordered
  • Follow infection control and safety policies
  • Maintain and organize surgical equipment and supplies
  • Update inventory and logs timely
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) required
  • 1-2 years’ clinical experience
  • Reliable transportation
  • Medical Assistant Certification preferred
  • Ability to travel between CVR Hackensack and North Bergen clinics
