Position Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time, Bilingual Medical Assistant/Front Desk at Pavonia Gastroenterology with Dr. Paul Mitchell Stoopack.

Responsibilities

1. Manage front desk operations and assist physicians, including escorting patients to exam rooms.
2. Obtain and record vital signs and patient history, handle clerical duties, EMR data entry, and manage telephone communications.
3. Maintain a positive attitude, multitask effectively, and understand policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience
• Experience with EMR systems like Athena, ECW, Epic (preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (preferred)
• E-prescribing certification (preferred)
