Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant (Bilingual) to assist physicians with examinations, nursing treatments, and procedures. The role requires familiarity with departmental policies, community health, and social services, along with excellent public relations skills.

Responsibilities

1. Perform patient intake, including history, vital signs, and documentation.
2. Administer immunizations and medications as prescribed.
3. Maintain lab equipment, perform specimen processing, and ensure infection control protocols.
4. Assist with examinations and treatments, and manage inventory.
5. Perform venipuncture and other clinical duties as ordered.
6. Adhere to safety and infection control policies.
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; completion of Medical Assisting Program.
• Preferred: 1 year of clinical experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform essential functions.
• Excellent customer service skills.
