This AFSCME clerical position includes in-depth clinical skills labs, patient engagement, and essential health system onboarding. Applicants must meet MNACC enrollment and background requirements.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Aptitude and interest in working with medical and psychiatry patients in a primary care setting as part of a team.
• Proficiency with computerized medical records and Microsoft Word.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and persistence in completing tasks.
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize.
• Strong communication skills with patients, staff, providers, and outside agencies.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Aufgaben

• Curriculum will include training elements.
• Work as an MA and engage patients.
• Manage Medical Records and EHR.
• Practice Medical Asepsis and OSHA standards.
• Take Vital Signs.
• Sterilization and Disinfection.
• Conduct physical exams for pediatric and adult patients.
• Assist with gynecologic exams and prenatal care.
• Support minor office procedures and medication administration.
• Assist with cardiopulmonary procedures and clinical labs.
