Essentia Health’s Clinical Assistant Apprenticeship offers a structured path to CCMA certification through a year of on-the-job training and related courses. Apprentices work under a preceptor, performing entry-level clinical tasks in an ambulatory setting to support RNs, physicians and other providers.

Post-offer onboarding includes BCLS certification goals, with continued study and hands-on practice to prepare for the CCMA exam. Shift includes day rotation at the Superior Clinic site.

Qualifikationen

• Under the guidance of a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse preceptor, assists with direct patient care in ambulatory setting.
• Apprentice performs identified procedures independently once competencies are demonstrated.
• Cares for patients from newborn to elderly as noted.
