Sea Mar Community Health Centers is committed to advancing health equity and expanding access to care for underserved communities. Our State-approved Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program offers a meaningful pathway into healthcare for individuals who are passionate about serving others and building a long-term career in community health. This 12-month program combines 2,000 hours of paid clinical training with structured coursework to prepare apprentices to sit for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam. Apprentices work alongside experienced care teams in a patient-centered medical home model, helping ensure every patient receives respectful, high-quality care.
