We are recruiting for the following position: Medical Assistant - Apprentice. Sea Mar Community Health Centers is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization. The 12-Month Paid Apprenticeship | Non-Exempt program offers a meaningful pathway into healthcare for individuals who are passionate about serving others and building a long-term career in community health. This 12-month program combines 2,000 hours of paid clinical training with structured coursework to prepare apprentices to sit for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam.
Your Role: Support providers in delivering compassionate, culturally responsive care. Room patients, obtain vital signs, and assist with exams and procedures. Track clinical quality measures and support care coordination. Administer immunizations within scope. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes.
