Job summary

Regain Functional Medicine and Aesthetics in Leawood, KS is hiring a Medical Assistant for a full-time, on-site role. You will support providers with clinical and administrative tasks, including rooming patients, preparing for procedures, documenting encounters, and maintaining treatment areas.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of Medical Terminology, patient care skills, blood draws, IV therapy, and experience with electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.
• Certification (CMA, RMA, or similar) preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a patient-facing environment.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology to effectively communicate with providers and document information.
• Experience with blood draws and IV therapy.
• Familiarity with infection control protocols and patient privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare clients for procedures.
• Document patient encounters in electronic health records.
• Prepare medication pickups for patients.
• Assist during aesthetic and functional medicine treatments as directed.
• Maintain treatment rooms and equipment.
• Manage appointment flow and follow-up communications.
• Support front office staff to deliver timely, high-quality patient care.
