Job summary

Qualifications

Role Description

The Medical Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Leawood, KS. This role supports providers with clinical and administrative tasks, including rooming patients, preparing clients for aesthetic and functional medicine procedures, preparing medication pickups for patients, and assisting during treatments as directed. Daily responsibilities include documenting patient encounters in medical records, maintaining treatment rooms and equipment, managing appointment flow, and supporting follow-up communications. The Medical Assistant helps ensure a welcoming, safe, and efficient patient experience by adhering to clinical protocols, infection control standards, and privacy regulations. Collaboration with providers and front office team members is essential to deliver timely, high-quality patient care.

This is a Full-Time On-Site position Monday-Friday in the Leawood Office location.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology to effectively communicate with providers and accurately document patient information.
• Candidates should possess Patient Care skills, including professional bedside manner, patient education, and attention to comfort and safety.
• Candidate MUST have experience with performing blood draws on patients
• Candidate MUST have experience with starting/stopping IV Therapy
• Candidates should possess knowledge of turning over patient rooms
• Candidates should possess Medical Records skills, including accurate charting, maintaining confidentiality, and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience; certification (CMA, RMA, or similar) preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, patient-facing environment.
