Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Medical Assistant program or have at least one year of MA experience.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required before start date.
• Ability to protect patient privacy and PHI at all times.
• Experience with medical records, referrals, and scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referral processing and medical record retrieval.
• Assist with pre-visit planning and patient communication.
• Provide in-basket support for providers and MAs.
• Cover front desk tasks and assist with scheduling as needed.
• Cross-train in clinical MA workflows for flexible coverage.
