Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Senior Medical Assistant for an ambulatory clinic setting. You will support clinicians by gathering relevant patient information and assisting with care planning, while communicating with patients across multiple channels.

The role requires MA training or equivalent experience, BLS certification, and basic computer/EMR skills. Some responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams and maintaining patient privacy and PHI compliance.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program or at least one year of MA work experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare.
• Basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction of the clinician and assist the provider with patient information gathering.
• Communicate clearly with patients via telephone and in-person interactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain attention to detail and ensure follow-through in care delivery.
