Job summary

Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our cardiology team in ambulatory care. You will assist providers, collect patient information, and communicate with patients by phone and in person to ensure smooth visits.

Qualifications

• Current American Heart Association (BLS) for healthcare providers is required prior to start date.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program OR at least one year of Medical Assistant work experience OR current active and in good standing RN/LPN license to practice nursing in Colorado.
• Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to protect privacy and PHI of patients and caregivers.
