Northbridge University’s Pembroke Pines Campus is seeking a Medical Assistant Adjunct Instructor to prepare students for entry-level medical assistant roles. The role combines classroom instruction with supervised clinical practice or capstone experiences.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or higher, MA certifications (RMA/CMA/NCMA), and at least 3 years of teaching experience plus 3 years of field work. Strong MS Office, Adobe, and information-systems skills are required.

Qualifications

• An associate degree or higher is required.
• Current Florida Certified Medical Assistant (BMO) is preferred.
• Current valid Medical Assistant Certification: RMA, CMA, or NCMA Required.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the college level; and a minimum of 3 years of work experience in field.
• Must have 3+ years teaching at college level and 3+ years field work.
• Strong computer skills in MS Office, Adobe, and information systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare students for entry-level medical assistant positions.
• Instruct in classroom and supervised clinical practice or capstone.
• Deliver course using diverse resources and communicate effectively.
