Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom and/or lab instruction aligned with course objectives and program standards.
• Supervise, monitor and evaluate students in clinical settings, ensuring adherence to safety, ethical, and professional standards.
• Provide mentorship and real‑world insights to students during clinical rotations.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and clinical competencies.
• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities as required by the grant program.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree and/or Diploma in Medical Assisting or Clinical Medical Assisting.
• 3–5 years of field experience.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of Medical Assisting and Clinical Medical Assistant theory and clinical practice experience required.
• Active Certification in Medical Assisting: CMA, CCMA or RMAA.
• Field experience in Phlebotomy and Electrocardiogram (EKG).
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising healthcare staff, with the ability to assess progress based on demonstrated clinical tasks and healthcare skills.
• Experience teaching or supervising in CMA, CCMA or RMA courses.
• Familiarity with grant‑funded educational programs and reporting requirements.
